The Procurement Transparency Group (PTG) was created under the provision of Executive Order No. 662 and its two succeeding amendments , as a means to enhance transparency measures under Republic Act No. 9184.
The PTG can be considered as a partnership, as it is comprised of five government agencies and five non-government organizations. The five participating government agencies are: PAGC, NEDA, DBM, DOJ and DILG. The five NGOs/CSOs were duly designated by the network of CSOs involved in training procurement observers and/or procurement reforms. The group is headed by the GPPB.
